Yesterday I was talking to one of my students who is 59 years old.
He told me he has a PhD in Theoretical Physics from one of the best universities in the UK…
But in his mid-30s, he realized that he didn’t like doing research much.
And felt he could do something better.
Then he started to do something completely different.
He created some codes that calculated banking risks.
Then banks became interested in him, and he shifted his career.
He got involved in trading and ended up working in one of the biggest hedge funds in Singapore.
Made a lot of money and retired at 50 years old.
Crazy, right?
The reality is that we never know how life is going to turn out.
Things like this happen all the time.
Maybe you haven’t even discovered the things you’re going to love the most.
Maybe you’ve never visited the place that’s going to feel like home more than any other place.
It’s so good to have time in your favor!
Because the possibilities are endless!
