It’s impressive how much influence a bad night of sleep can have on you!
Yesterday was an uncommon day. I went out with a couple of friends here in Kuala Lumpur, to a Shisha Bar. I didn’t even drink, but just the fact of getting home after 3 am and then waking up before 8 to do my stuff and be at work by 10 already had such a big impact on my day!
Today is Sunday, but it is the day I start my week in my day job (I’m a BJJ coach) and had 4 hours straight of classes (10:30 am to 2:30 pm).
I was planning to do some work for my clients and organize other side projects, but after the classes, I was so fucking tired! Usually, I’m okay, but not getting enough sleep really affects me.
So, I took some rest in the afternoon and did some house stuff like laundry and prepped my meals for the week. I also went to the gym, as I was two days without lifting weights.
Today wasn’t a productive day in terms of building my businesses, but tomorrow I will try to wake up at 6 am and do 2 hours of focused work on my own stuff before going to teach my first class (9:30 am).
