Working with what you love and…
You are not going to work a day in your life?
Or…
You are not going to love anything more.
Hahaha
I think both are too extreme.
But a lot of people have been preaching the first one and I hate to break it to you guys…
I don’t like to sound pessimistic or even look like I’m complaining, but as someone who is working with the thing I love most in my life (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu), I feel obligated to say this: some things and days are just going to suck.
That’s the reality of anything!
To be clear:
It’s still going to suck less than if it was something you don’t love, so I’m 100% an advocate of doing the thing we love and pursuing our dreams.
Just don’t expect that the moment you start working with your passion, all the problems of the world are going to disappear and you are going to love everything about it and be happy every second of the day, it’s simply not true.
Every piece of life has problems and things to deal with; you are simply choosing the ones that you want to handle, and I will say this to you: it’s 100 times easier to deal with problems that you deliberately chose instead of being imposed upon you.
I’m going to leave you guys with this reflection! See you guys tomorrow!
