One thing that I struggle for a long time now is to delegate tasks.
I really suck at it! Is so hard to find the balance between micromanage and leave the employee alone.
I already tried so many times in different ways, full-time employee, virtual assistants hired per tasks, freelancers per project, friends, total strangers, family, everything.
And after a time I just give up and do all alone.
I know I can do a lot of things alone but right now because I have this full-time job, 5 clients and also building my own projects, time became a really valuable asset.
And seems such a waste spend in manual and repetitive tasks.
So I’m trying again.
I’m still not good at it.
But I think I’m slowly getting better…
Organizing more the things my assistant need to, stipulating clear deadlines and giving short instructions.
And in an asynchronous style (Trello) as meetings are the worsts!
So yeah, let’s see how it goes, will keep you guys updated about the development on this.
